Cooper

Rescued by Kristen Keast

Cooper (a.k.a. Steve Young) was surrendered to the shelter in San Jose.  His human family just didn’t have time for him.  Wendy rescued him and had her vet friends check him out and neuter him.  He got a clean bill of health and was matched with Kristen within a week of his being left at the shelter.  Cooper now has a loving new home with Kristen and Dwight and her daughter.  The Keast’s have an 11 year old Black Lab who has been very accepting of this new little boy.  Cooper has begun the Mini take-over.  He has taken over their hearts.  He is very clever and he knows how to work a room to get what he wants.  Cooper was never house-broken and always lived outside but things are changing for him.  He has access to a doggie door and is learning to use it.  This little guy was probably abused and is very shy around kids but Kirisen’s daughter has been around dogs all her life and is helping him adjust to the younger generation.  Cooper is about 3 years old, S&P with natural ears.  He now has a second chance at a wonderful life.  We wish him love and millions of dog bones.
