Heidi

Rescued by Diane Robinson

The Story of Heidi is one that repeats it’s self over and over.  Please as you read this, think about the safety of you “kid” and the likelihood of him or her being returned to you if lost.

Heidi, as she is now named was found roaming the streets.  All effort was made to find the true owner but to no avail.  Heidi was shuffled from home to home – a total of four – before she found one where she could stay forever.  Even in the fourth home things were not perfect.  She had no fenced yard and no dog door (the home was in the midst of construction) and Heidi didn’t know how to ask to be taken out for a walk.  Her rescuer Diane was at her wits end and was looking for help.  She knew that the house was not the place for Heidi so she contacted SJMSC Rescue.  Rescue started to find a more perfect match for Heidi but things changed.  Heidi became so important in the life of Diane and her family that they decided to keep her and find ways to improve her living conditions while construction continued.  The family has committed themselves to Heidi and she is now part of the family.

Heidi is about 2 years old with natural ears and is black and silver in color.  She is VERY smart and obedient and loves kids.  The term VERY SWEET was repeated over and over.  All of us hope that this is the last time Heidi has to look for a home and family, after all five homes is four too many.
