Lucky

Adopted by Virginia & Richard Worden.

Lucky, the name given him by his foster family was found on the streets in Woodland and was taken to the shelter there.  His original owner never reclaimed this little mini so he was available for adoption.  He was neutered at the shelter because someone said that wanted to adopt him but they never came for him.  It was then that SJMSC Rescue was contacted.  Lucky was not a very happy boy but he was VERY sweet and allowed everyone to love on him.  He seemed to like other dogs, had no interest in cats, liked kids but was most responsive to men.  We groomed him (he was very matted and had lots of stickers in his fur) and sent him home with the Dahl family who agreed to foster him.  Lucky, it turns out, had an infection and his teeth needed a lot of help so no wonder her was not happy.  He spent about 10 days with the Dahl family (thank you all for caring so much for this little boy) before getting a permanent home with Virginia and Richard.

As you can see from his picture, Lucky is now a happy boy with a new Mom and Dad who have fallen in love with him.  He is still rather quiet but getting friskier everyday.  His Mom reports that he loves to go on walks and loves to ride in the car.  He has been to the groomer and is sporting a new haircut and smells great.  Our hope is that Lucky has a new chance at a wonderful life and that he finds all the love and caring that the Wordens have to offer.  Have a special life Lucky, you are your name since finding your new home.
