Max
was surrendered, by his owners, to the animal shelter in Woodland, CA.
Why, we don’t know.
We do know that he is a very loving boy and now his life has taken a turn
for the better.
Max is about 6 years old, very bright eyed; he was black but has faded to
a gray/brown color.
He was a mess when he came into the shelter, matted, dirty and loaded
with foxtails.
Max also is very obese so Jenny Craig or Weight Watchers is part of his
new life.
Dianna who does Standard Schnauzer rescue alerted SJMSC Rescue about a
Mini at the shelter.
A thanks goes out to her for her help and support. Now
Max is in his new home with Gailanne and her husband and starting on a new life.
He will never spend another day or night out in a yard of foxtails.
He has the run of the house and he has already picked out his favorite
place to sleep (inside of course) and he’s moving in to the hearts of his new
Mom and Dad.
It’s a great match and they are so happy to have a new little (well
right now big) “man” in their lives.
They recently lost their old Schnauzer, also named Max, and new Max is a
great joy for them. We
know that sometimes things happen in your life that may make it impossible to
keep your pet.
But NEVER give it up at a shelter, there are always rescue groups who can
place in very good and loving homes.
Max is an example of this.
We wish him and his new family many years of happiness. |
