Mini

Adopted by Brenda & Steve Couey

Mini is a beautiful Miniature Schnauzer – salt & pepper with wonderful natural ears.  She lived with her former owner for 13 years.  Barbara, her owner at 87 years, could no longer live in her home and it was decided they would both need to go to retirement homes.

For Barbara this was not an easy choice, she could find no one to take her beloved Schnauzer.  At 13, Mini has some physical problems.  She is on a special diet, takes multiple medication twice a day, has severe cataracts and Cancer.  But you ought to see her “stub” wag.  She still has so much love to offer.  So it was decided she would go to live at ‘Camp Couey’.

Mini has adapted well.  She loves it when her new dad, Steve, takes her for walks.  She has her bed next to his and has found her way into both their hearts.

Barbara calls and checks on her at least twice a week.  The move, it seems, was harder on Barbara than on Mini.

Mini may not have a long life ahead of her but it will be a happy one at ‘Camp Couey’.  Please keep her in your prayers.  Thank you Brenda and Steve for your devotion to the breed and to the little ones to whom you give so much love and attention.
