Rue

Rescued by Lindy Turner

The little boy “Rue” (from the stories of Winnie the Poo) was adopted by Lindy along with an “old” girl named Zelda (her story follows).  This little boy was turned in as a stray to the humane society.  After his holding period he was released to rescue.  He was given a health check and shots and was neutered and had his teeth cleaned before being put into our adoption program.  Rue is a “real boy” and a little wild but he was very good for his grooming which he needed very badly.

The adoption heavens brought us Lindy.  All she wanted was a little guy or girl for her Mini “Schnapps” to play with.  He was VERY lonely after his play buddies moved.  She was very insistent and didn’t let a second go by without letting us know how much she wanted another Mini.  She was at the doors of the shelter the minute “Rue” became available.

Rue and Schnapps are now playing every minute of the day.  Both sleep very well at night though Mom doesn’t because they are both bed hogs and take their share out of the middle.  Rue was aged at approximately 2 years old, he is a Very light salt and pepper with docked ears.  He is a very cuddly boy and now has a wonderful home where he can share the love he can give and get back all the love he deserves.  We wish him and his new family years of fun and happiness.
