Susie Adopted by Joy & Bob Holm

Susie, her new name, was rescued from the shelter in Antioch, CA.  Rescue was alerted by one of our Club members (Darlene Mobly) that there were two Minis in the shelter.  Rescue contacted the shelter and was given the information about the two “kids” and we went to work to find them new homes.  The Minis (a girl and a boy) were turned in together after being cared for by a Good Samaritan.  They were held for the required time so the true owner could claim them but that did not happen.

The girl was aged at about 5 years.  She is salt & pepper with natural ears.  She was very dirty and had needed a lot of cleaning up to look like a pretty Mini but you can see from her photo she doesn’t have far to go.  What a cutie!  She is a bit shy but loves people and other dog.

The Holms have had Minis for over 30 years so they know how wonderful the breed can be.  When they contacted Rescue with their “resume” we knew we had to find them a little one to fill that empty place in their hearts and home.

Susie seems to have moved in nicely.  She takes long walks with her new “Dad” and sleeps with her head on her “Moms” lap in the evening when they watch TV or read.  This little lady from the street now has the chance for a wonderful life with Bob and Joy.  We hope they all have a special life together.
