The next Board Meetings will be held at the
club's Dog Day Afternoon Picnic on 7/30. The Dog Day Afternoon picnic will be held at Hidden Valley Park in Martinez, CA. From 680 South, exit at Contra Costa Blvd, turn right and then turn left on to Center Avenue. Or, from 680 North take the Concord Blvd/Burnet exit and follow the odd little dog leg to Concord Blvd. and turn left. Turn right on to Contra Costa Blvd and then left on to Center Avenue. Go up the hill on Center for about two miles. The park will be on the left. Signs will be posted. The grooming workshop will be held at the home of Cleo Home. To get to Cleo's: take Interstate 680, either South from Walnut Creek or North from Dublin (I580). Exit at El Cerro Road. Approach the traffic light and turn East onto El Cerro. About 50 yards East of I680, turn right onto Adobe Drive. Go up the hill and as you come back down the road curves to the left. Almost at the bottom of the grade, turn right onto Highbridge. The second block on your left is Stowbridge. Turn left onto Stowbridge and drive to the end of the block. The house is number 106. Her phone is (925) 838-0220.
